As
story flows, Man exercised more control over the world
that surrounded him. With respect to copper, a feature
of our age (AC), it was the complete development of metal
exploitation techniques as from the element in its mineral
state, not longer depending on the native metal.
Research works are more likely to tend on the military
use of metals as one of the first needs to be analyzed
during Middle Ages, such as the manufacture of axes, blades,
helmets, cuirasses and a wide variety of war tools. On
the other side, it was also evident the presence of copper
and its alloys in light-carrier utensils (candleholders,
candlesticks, torches, tenebrous, oil lamps, lamp lanterns,
palm lamps, among others).
